Our Programs
DYSA offers a progression of soccer programs designed to support player development at every age level. Players begin with Mini Soccer and progress through U10 in-town play before moving into the Coastal travel program at U12 and U14.

U6 | Mini SoccerList Item 1
Entering Pre-K or Kindergarten
Introduce young players to the game while building a foundation for future development. Players focus on basic soccer skills and learning the fundamental rules of the game. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun.

U8 | Mini SoccerList Item 2
Entering 1st & 2nd Grade
Players continue developing their technical skills while gaining a better understanding of the rules of the game and basic team play. The program builds confidence and prepares players for the transition to full-field soccer. Emphasis remains on teamwork, sportsmanship, and developing a passion for the game. Teams are formed with the goal of creating balanced competition across the league.

U10 | Coastal In-TownList Item 3
Entering 3rd & 4th Grade
The U10 program introduces more structured team play in a 7v7 format. Players begin learning positioning, team shape, and basic game strategy while continuing to develop strong technical skills. The program remains in-town while preparing players for travel competition at the Coastal level.

U12–U14 | Coastal TravelList Item 4
Entering 5th–8th Grade
Beginning in 5th grade, players participate in the Coastal Youth Soccer League (CYSL), competing against neighboring South Shore towns. Players progress through U12 (9v9) and U14 (11v11) formats while continuing to develop technical skills, positioning, and team tactics in a competitive travel environment.
