TEAM & PLAYER ADJUSTMENTS FROM FALL SEASON TO THE SPRING SEASON

Team Placement

At the end of every fall season, Coastal Youth Soccer League Competition Committee (CYSLCC) & Duxbury Youth Soccer Association (DYSA) may provide guidance that a team should be moved up or down a division based on their record. The purpose of such a move would be to ensure all teams have a competitive experience in the spring.

Player Placement

Given the effort by the Board to place players appropriately, DYSA strives to minimize player movement from the Fall season to the Spring season.  Your child's spot on their fall team is not guaranteed for the spring. There may be necessary player adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances, this is not a common occurrence.

DYSA will review requests on a case by case basis and must be submitted by the players Fall Coach. Not all player requests will be granted by the DYSA. All initial requests are to be sent in writing to the VP of Coastal for review. If the request has merit the VP of Coastal will present the request to President.  All decisions made by DYSA are final.
