Program Description

This in-town program is designed to provide a competitive playing environment while continuing to build strong soccer fundamentals. Games are played in a 7v7 format, allowing players to develop spacing, decision making, teamwork, and overall game awareness while continuing to strengthen their technical skills.

The program is intended for players entering 3rd and 4th grade, with a continued emphasis on skill development, positioning, and team play. Every effort is made to distribute talent levels across teams to support balanced competition and positive player development.

The U10 Coastal In-Town program provides a consistent local playing experience while helping prepare players for the Coastal travel format used in older age groups. Most games are played in town, with occasional matches scheduled against neighboring towns that also offer in-town U10 programs. At the end of each spring season, all U10 teams participate in the annual DYSA U10 Jamboree.
